Both Naples to the south and Fort Myers to the north are about equal distance offering residents extra city amenities a short distance away. In addition to being conveniently located next to larger cities, the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is a mere nine miles away whether you travel for business or leisure.

You can bite into a delectable sizzling steak topped with buttery goodness at Ruth’s Chris, an elegant steakhouse with top-notch service. Rusty’s Raw Bar and Grill is a casual eatery serving the tastiest raw oysters, wings, steamed shellfish, burgers, and more in a fun atmosphere.
 
At Ford’s Garage, you can expect awesome gourmet burgers and beer in an eclectic car-themed restaurant. The premier shopping destination for high-end retail stores and boutique-style shops can be found in Coconut Point Mall. It is an upscale shopping complex that has a farmer’s market where you can find the best produce, baked goods, fresh seafood, cheeses, and more. The Coconut Point Farmers Market is every Thursday morning from October through April. The Estero Farmers Market at Miromar Outlets is on Saturday mornings year-round.

Estero is a lovely village surrounded by an immense amount of green space making it a highly desirable place to live. With endless sunny days, residents enjoy a certain amount of beach time at one of many stellar white sand beaches. The top beaches to swim, snorkel, kayak, or lounge on are Lover’s Key State Park, Barefoot Beach, Bonita Beach, and Little Hickory Island Beach Park. Golfers find this part of Florida paradise with the sheer volume of golf courses to play on. Pelican Sound Golf & River Club, Stoneybrook Golf Club, and Miromar Lakes Golf Club are among the elite courses locals rave about.
 
Estero River is a wonderful place to spend time out in nature as there is a six-mile waterway that kayakers and canoers take advantage of. Hertz Arena is the number one spot in southwest Florida for live concerts, and special events. It is also where the ice hockey team the Florida Everblades plays.
